The Carter Nedley Golf Classic

May 20th, 2010 by jnedley

We have scheduled the first Carter Nedley Golf Classic for noon on Saturday, September 25 at Black Brook Golf Course in Mentor, Ohio.

There are four ways to participate:

1) Join us on the course. Players receive eighteen holes of golf with a cart, two drink tickets, a clubhouse lunch before the outing, and a catered cookout dinner (steak or chicken) at the finish. Prizes will be awarded to the winning foursome and to the individuals with the longest drive and longest putt. Foursomes are priced at $400 (discounted to $380 if paid before September 3).

2) Volunteer. The Carter Nedley Golf Classic is the Foundation’s signature event this year. Planning and executing a quality golf outing requires a team of dedicated volunteers. Please e-mail Lisa at lisa@carternedley.org if you would like to help before or on the day of the outing.

3) Sponsor a hole. For $125, the Foundation will display a sign with your company name and logo. Your business also will receive recognition in the outing program. Finally, we will promote your business on our website, carternedley.org, for one year.

4) Donate a prize. Please consider making a donation of your goods or services for the players of the Carter Nedley Golf Classic. Your business will receive recognition in the outing program, also, and promotion on the website. Like a hole sponsorship, it is an excellent way to promote your business and to show your support.

To register a foursome or to purchase a sponsorship, please complete and return the registration form, along with your payment. We encourage you to take advantage of the discount for early registration, and to consider, also, that space may be limited.

Please feel free, also, to e-mail jason@carternedley.org or to call us at (440) 725-5118 with any questions or suggestions you may have.

All proceeds from registrations and sponsorships will benefit The Carter Nedley Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is 1) to serve children in Northeast Ohio affected by cancer, along with their families; 2) to raise funds for pediatric cancer research; and 3) to advocate for issues relevant to the treatment of pediatric cancer.

We thank you all for your continued support of the mission of The Carter Nedley Foundation, and look forward to your participation in the Carter Nedley Golf Classic.
