Father’s Day Breakfast

June 26th, 2010 by jnedley

Last month, The Carter Nedley Foundation brought a tasty Mother’s Day breakfast to the families and staff of the pediatric oncology unit at The Cleveland Clinic.

Naturally, then, we had to show the unit the same support for Father’s Day, especially when we had a partner like Panera Bread again willing to help.

So we delivered a second delicious spread of Panera’s bagels, cream cheese, fresh fruit, and coffee. But one thing that tastes pretty good, too, is free parking. So instead of a box of homemade truffles, we bought a one-day pass for each family on the unit to park in the Clinic’s garage.

Thanks, again, to Panera Bread at Points East Plaza in Mentor for their most kind donation of the bagels, cream cheese, fruit, and coffee. Thanks to all of you for your continued support of The Carter Nedley Foundation. And our best wishes to the fathers of all children fighting illness — your love keeps your child strong, and truly inspires us all.
