Needed: Your DVDs

June 26th, 2010 by jnedley

The pediatric-oncology unit at The Cleveland Clinic has moved twice in the last year, first from its original home in the M Building to the G Building, and now back to a different floor in the M Building. We got a quick tour last Sunday, when we brought our Father’s Day breakfast.

The rooms are bright, fairly spacious and clean, and are equipped with wall-mounted flat-screen TVs with DVD players.

But the nurses have identified a small problem. The patients are asking if there are any DVDs for them to borrow.

So we’re going to help them get a library started (goodbye, Bob the BuilderG-Force, and Shark Tales, along with a bunch of other DVDs that were only gently used). And we’re hoping that you might want to join us, by donating any child- or teen-appropriate DVDs that you no longer want.

Please e-mail us. We’d be happy to collect them from you, and to take them over on our next trip.
