Toy Drive for Cleveland Clinic Children's

It’s been a busy month for us. First we announced a gift to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's to provide a new facility service dog for its inpatient cancer unit. Then we announced the renewal of our room sponsorship at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Ohio.

We’re winding down at least one more project this holiday season. We partnered with our friends at Notre Dame Elementary School for a toy drive to benefit the children being treated for cancer at Cleveland Clinic Children’s!

The sixth, seventh and eighth grades held a competition to see which homeroom could donate the largest number of toys. They collected nearly THREE HUNDRED items, and then beautifully wrapped them all for us! We needed to make two trips to haul it all away! We then treated the winning homeroom to Maggie’s Donuts Chardon!

Thanks to all of the amazing families at Notre Dame whose contributions have made this such an incredible success! Special thanks, as well, to Victoria Thompson and Dr. Jacqueline Hoynes for their support.
