Our Impact

Some recent programs supported by The Carter Nedley Foundation include:

• A new facility service dog for the inpatient cancer unit at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's, which will provide emotional support, therapy and love to the children receiving treatment there

• More than twenty (20) Nintendo Switch game systems for the inpatient cancer unit at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's

• Nearly thirty (30) XBox game systems for the outpatient infusion rooms at Cleveland Clinic Children's

• iPads and licenses to the augmented reality experience ARISE by SpellBound for the pediatric oncology inpatient unit at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, providing much-needed entertainment while reducing patient anxiety and pain perception and speeding recovery

• Sponsoring a portion of a family’s medical expenses so their child’s recovery could remain on schedule, avoiding both additional emotional and financial stress
